 Sanur
is an excellent place to see the sun rise in the morning.
The beach is safe for kids and sometimes exellent surf
on the reef. It's has been a popular recreation site for
people elsewhere. Located on the eastern coast of Bali
is the ideal beach for snorkeling as it is protected by
a coral reef. Sanur is only a short distance from Denpasar,
with public transportation readily available. The palm
lined beach curves from the Bali Beach Hotel toward the
south, facing the Indian Ocean to wards the east. Sanur
is Bali's first beach resort, it is also Bali's largest
traditional village. The main street is lined with a mix
of quaint little shops selling Bali knick-knacks and the
trendy label clothing shops, slow paced restaurants that
have a real Balinese atmosphere and various types of accommodation.
Sanur beach is sheltered by a reef which is surfable when
there's a good swell and there is also the chance for
a bit of a snorkel. During low tide, it's really too shallow
to swim but it's still quite beautiful with an abundance
of coconut palms, gold sand and a great paved walking
track running along the beach. High tide turns the beach
into a fun place of water sports and swimming.
Here you can find many high quality hotels and resorts
that offer their excellent services and facilities. But,
cheap accommodation are available for those who prefer
holiday in more relaxed-way. Sanur's white sandy beach
is safe; there you can try numerous water sports such
as: swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, outrigger sailing,
and windsurfing.
A long the beach you can find many traditional
art markets that provide various handicrafts. A few meters
from the traditional art market is the Le Mayeur museum-the
great artist who influenced the work of many Balinese
artists.
During the evening the choices are equally as varied,
with a huge selection of restaurants and elegant nightclubs
making a choice difficult. Most hotels and resorts also
feature traditional music and dance performances
