om the sacred sound of ida sang hyang widhi wasa. swasthi asthu derived from sanskrit means : may sang hyang widhi favor us.uttering om swasthi asthu is a prayer to hyang widhi for protection : it is also used to open statements and letters. om canti, canti, canti is used as closing and is answer to the greeting om swasthi astu uttered by a young person to his elder.closely connected with the sacred symbol swastika, which represents the strength and properity of bhuana agung and bhuana alit ( macro and microcosm ). swastika is made in the shape of a galaxy and is symbolic of the permanence of movement of cakrawala ( firmament ). our ancestors already knew this and the symbol existed thousands of years before christianity. from the shape of swastika, emerge the shape of padma astha dala ( 8-petaled lotus ) symbol of eternity, harmony, sacredness, and peace in the inuverse.

Ida sang yang widhi wasa
source of all creations. god of all gods. the center of all, the one god and supreme creator, source of all sources in the universe, bhur, bwah and swah (3 levels).hyang widhi creates different god forms to accomplish the many tasks of taking care and protecting the universe and all of its entities.each fprm, such us dewa brahma, dewa wisnu, and dewa siwa, together with their sakti, dewi saraswasti, dewi sri,, and dewi dhurga represents a different characteristic of sang hyang widhi and rule over a different aspect of the universe.
